Event Description
The league is made possible by the great folks at LTS Chicago Adult Social Sports (www.LiveToSupport.com). By joining this league you will be assigned into one of six teams. Six team captains will be assigned before the season starts and they will perform a closed-session draft to divvy up the players into teams. The games will be 8v8 with keepers and full-sized goals and 10 players per team.The general soccer skill required is: played soccer before. There are some pretty talented folks on the pitch and there are some not. A few folks in shape and many that are not. The league is much more focused to having a fun, stress-free time playing soccer over high-competition and winning. A higher emphasis on embarrassing megs and sweet goals over who won the game.
Each team will play the other five teams over the course of the five week season. We take the party to Sheffield's after our matches to hang out, drink beer/Malort and laugh at the current holder of the Wondo armband.
There will be a ref on hand, but will be an unpaid drunk so don't try diving or any other shenanigans. The ref's main responsibilities will be to keep everything safe and decide when misses are worthy of said Wondo armband.

Subs will be allowed in at $10 for members and $15 for non-members each week. They will be taken at a first come-first served basis and be assigned to teams with missing members randomly. As a team player, you will recuperate $10 of your season pass (via Venmo) if a sub fills in for you and you notified the league lead that you could not make it before 11:59 PM the Wednesday before a game. Sub availabilities will be announced each Thursday.
